UX design intern, Singapore

What you will be doing

MING Labs is looking for creative and self-motivated interns to join our international Design team in our Singapore studio.

As our new design intern you'll be treated as full-time employees and you'll work together with our multidisciplinary teams in different projects.

The internships at MING Labs are paid and 6 months in duration in which time you'll have the opportunity to learn from more experienced designers and enhance your design skills.

You'll design products and services for the B2B/C sector by supporting the team in the different phases of a design process from initiation to design production including insight into visual exploration and development.

You will also be exposed to teams from different disciplines e.g. business design, project management, marketing, development, etc, and across different geographies.

You'll shape with us easy to use interfaces and engaging interactions through user-centered design, creating exciting designs to test directly with users.

During the internship you will also be able to: Join Skill Hour Sessions to learn and understand global projects and topics within the design and innovation industry, and beyond.

You will act an an active member of the team where you voice and ideas will be heard and directly contribute to the final product.

You will have a global team and leaders & experts in the design field at your fingertips for mentorship and guidance on design, projects and career development.

What we are looking for

You are a passionate, detail oriented, self motivated and proactive designer who enjoys either working in a team or independently in a variety of projects.

You are a graduate of a relevant interaction design Bachelor/Master’s program or/and you have a strong portfolio and experience.

You have knowledge and ideally, a first experience working with interaction design principles and skills including concept sketching, creating interaction models, wireframing, following all the visual design stages from storyboards to final hand-off and development.

You are passionate about user-centered design particularly as applied to web-based applications and consumer electronics.

You are comfortable and are familiar with design & office software for wireframing, prototyping, proposals, micro animations. For reference we use: Figma, Miro, Keynote, etc.

You are proficient in English.

You are passionate about creating products that resonate emotionally with people.

You have great communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with different external and internal stakeholders.
