The Chinese character MING (明) consists of the characters for the sun (日) and the moon (月). Complementary opposites. Like day and night. Like yin and yang. MING (明) stands for bright and clear. In other combinations, it can stand for tomorrow (明天), understanding (明白) and clarity (明晰). Our name ties back to a search for insights and meaning. It also ties back to our heritage of starting in two time zones (China and Germany). And it ties back to our efforts in balancing seemingly opposing concepts. MING Labs is about insight-driven design, keeping our eyes on tomorrow, working with clarity to create impact. Merging design and business, balancing aesthetics and analytics, crafting products that delight and deliver.
