(Senior) People & Organization manager, Berlin

What you will be doing

As our (Senior) P&O Manager, you will take full responsibility for the end-to-end talent experience at MING Labs, from sourcing full-time and freelance talent to managing the day-to-day talent experience, all the way to retention and alumni engagement. The P&O function is recognized as a key contributor to the success of the firm and works directly with the founders and top leadership to set us up for success.

Your specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Talent Acquisition

  • Create industry-leading employer branding to attract top international talent.
  • Align talent needs with leadership teams globally, to craft a clear roadmap.
  • Maintain and update our database of relevant talent descriptions.
  • Actively source and maintain our freelance talent pool.
  • Actively source full-time talent in alignment with the larger roadmap.

Talent Development & Management

  • Run our review process together with leadership teams globally.
  • Keep our learning & development initiatives relevant and look after engagement.
  • Stay closely in tune with the needs of our people to craft relevant policy.
  • Work with our global leadership teams to develop our talent pool internally.

Talent Retention

  • Own our global feedback survey and craft relevant initiatives in response.
  • Understand the present situation and future vision of our people and work with their leaders to help shape their work situation for their optimal development.
  • Take responsibility for understanding pay grade development and updating our salary bands.
  • Ensure the continued attractiveness of our benefits and work environment.

Alumni Engagement

  • Keep building our alumni community through relevant channels and initiatives.
  • Increase engagement with alumni and create a strong alumni value proposition.

Administration

  • Ensure that all our contract templates and other key documents are always up-to-date.
  • Liaise with other functions and business lines to consult with them on their requirements.
  • Own and maintain all relevant P&O processes and tools internally.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop junior P&O colleagues (working students and/or full-time).
  • Craft the development plans and run reviews with your team.

Direct Reporting Line: Founding Partner & COO

What we are looking for

You have 5+ years of experience in P&O or HR

You have strong experience in talent acquisition and employee experience

You’re a self-starter and eager to bring our P&O function to the next level

Experience in an SME in the technology or consulting industry is a plus

You are experienced in building up HR processes and strategies, but also don’t shy away from getting your hands dirty in the more operational to-dos

You have strong people management capabilities

You’re a great communicator in English, German language skills are a big plus
