What you will be doing

MING Labs is seeking a Marketing manager to join our team!

The core responsibility of the Marketing manager is to promote MING Labs and grow brand awareness and consideration amongst our target audiences. You will have responsibility for planning and delivering content that fits our broader strategy.

Success for this role will be determined by growing MING Labs’ reach across channels while helping to generate qualified sales & recruitment leads.

As a Marketing manager at MING, you’ll be an integral part of our team, an ambassador for our brand and culture. The role is a great opportunity to work in design and innovation, working in a role where you’ll have freedom and autonomy to experiment on new formats and messaging. You’ll be working alongside business designers, UX designers and technologists in crafting content and learning what works in delivering real business impact.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Content Production - 50%

  • Plan and produce high-quality multimedia content on a regular schedule and in coordination with the various disciplines and functions
  • Ownership of content calendar across all formats and channels
  • Responsibility for regular content releases across Newsletter, Podcast, Social Media and Blog
  • Driving initiatives to establish new, high-impact formats
  • Production of audio/video clips for content marketing 

Analytics & Growth - 30%

  • Conduct competitor research & structured testing to identify new channels and technology that will deliver new opportunities for growth.
  • Develop our martech stack to improve efficiencies, quantification, scale and performance
  • Establishing and maintaining robust data management practices, measurement, and analysis on all marketing activities that inform our Marketing strategy
  • Regularly review our audience impact and suggest initiatives to improve
  • Clearly define and measure outcomes for the business, to align the Marketing strategy with our overarching business strategy at MING

Ecosystem & Community - 20%

  • Build positive brand awareness in line with strategic brand positioning
  • Engage with and nurture MING Labs’ community relationships with clients, leads, and visitors
  • Understand the needs of our target audience, and regularly refresh our programming in alignment with those
  • Establish and grow business and community relationships for both online and offline marketing activities
  • Organize and execute marketing events that bring our community together
  • Facilitate PR-related activities, including media relationships
What we are looking for

3+ years of experience in branding, marketing, and events & PR, preferably with creative or innovation agencies

English language proficiency

Strong storytelling and copywriting skills

Experience in setting up and operating marketing tools (inc. MailChimp, Google Analytics etc.)

Experience in multimedia production (either independently or in collaboration with external partners) across both audio & video

Our ideal candidate brings a strong passion for innovation and design, and is curious of emerging tech and consumer trends

Previous experience and desire to work in partnership & community building is a big plus
